22 Politicians Battle For APC Ticket In Kogi Governorship Election

INEC has recently announce the schedule for kogi state governorship election that will hold November 21, 2015. What is however news is the fact that the he All Progressive Congress (APC) seem to getting more attention from the major politicians in the state.

Unlike in the past where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will have gotten the attention of the politicians, the victory of the APC at the national level seem to have swayed the politicians to the party’s side.
As the party prepares for its primary election for the November election, no fewer than 22 members of the party (both new entrants and old members) have indicated their interest to fly the party’s flag for the election.

A Source reports that the party’s primary election will be held between August 25 and September 15. Aspirants have already began touring the length and breadth of the state consulting and seeking support from party and community stakeholders in their bid to assume the number position in the state.

Some of  the Aspirants are :

  • Prince Abubakar Audu
  • Adinoyi Onukaba Ojo
  • Idris Danjuma Muhammed
  • Olusola Olumoroti
  • Alhaji Yahaya Bello
  • Abubakar Amuda
  • Rotimi Obadofin
  • Salihu Atawodi

  • Abdullahi Mohammed
  • Nicholas Ugbane
  • Alex Kadri
