Ohi of Adavi, Ibrahim Asuku is dead

The Ohi of Adavi, HRH Ohi Ibrahim Asuku in Kogi Central zone of Kogi state is dead. He was aged 71. The highly respected traditional ruler died Wednesday morning.


According to Vanguard, from a visit to the monarch’s palace, many traditional chiefs were seen paying their last respect, as preparation was on for his burial according to the tenets of Islam.
He was a well trained educationist, a seasoned tutor of health and physical education. Natives of Adavi-Eba say that the late Ohi will be remembered for ensuring that peace and development reigned over Adaviland within the period of his sitting upon the throne.
