James Bond actor Undergoes Surgery After Getting Injured on Set of 'Spectre'


During the Easter break, the James Bond actor flew to New York for an 'arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury.
Daniel Craig got injured on the set of his latest James Bond movie "Spectre". The actor went under the knife in New York during an Easter break for a "minor procedure" after spraining his knee while filming his scenes overseas.
"During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury," a representative for the 47-year-old star confirms the surgery in a statement. "He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood." 

"Spectre" started filming in the U.K. last December before moving to new locations in Rome and Mexico. Directed by Sam Mendes, it's due Stateside on November 6 this year. Ben WhishawNaomie Harris, and Ralph Fiennes are among the returning cast. 

In this new movie, a cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind "Spectre.
