Good news: Revolution returns. Bad news (everything is a point of view of history): it comes in the form of a comic. But fans of the series can rest assured, there will be many an end!
All the creative team of the series, Eric Kripke , JJ Abrams , Bryan Burk , Rockne S. O'Bannon and Jon Favreau , partnered to create a series of four comics DC Comics and thus put an end to the plot Revolution . The original screenwriters, David Reed and Ryan Parrott , wrote four chapters and drawings are the work ofAngel Hernandez .
Digital comics will be available from May 4 Each chapter will be released exclusively on ComicBook.com for a week before appearing on the official Facebook page of Revolution . Chapter 1 will be released Monday, May 4, Chapter 2 will be released on May 8, Chapter 3 will be released on June 1, and finally, Chapter 4 will release on June 15
Eric Kripke, creator and executive producer of Revolution , has, for the occasion, wrote a letter to fans of the series. "Dear revolutionaries, patriots and militia soldiers Monroe First of all, thank you. I'm serious. I am sincere. The loyalty that you have shown towards Revolution in recent months moved me deeply and upset, it touched me more than you can think. And in case you're wondering, yes, we listened.
We have read your tweets. We have seen the incredible petition. We followed #RelocateRevolution. Know that you have been heard.
And it is only for your efforts we have decided to reward you by giving you a fantastic gift. Unfortunately, we can not shoot new episodes of the series (some financial realities can not be overcome), we can at least give you this: the end of history. In our own way.
Exactly as we would have liked to finish. JJ, Jon and I are proud to announce the end of Revolution : a series of four chapters under the umbrella of DC Comics. If you look at the attached photo, you will see that all the original writers are there. The group is in full force! (And if you look closely at the photo, you'll notice a young and courageous Matheson very happy with us). Everyone has agreed to work for very little money or even free.
