Meet the three-year-old Yahya El Jabaly.
He was born without eyes, a nose and an upper jaw, and his parents kept him hidden from view.
But the Moroccan-born child has now undergone reconstructive surgery in Australia, after donors helped out and doctors agreed to work for free.
Doctors spend 18-hour operation, remodelling the bones in his face. After the operation, Yahya’s dad Mostafa told Channel Seven’s Sunday Night:
‘It’s a huge joy, a huge happiness to see my son in such a situation.’ The toddler became known across the world after the dad of his closest friend wrote on Facebook calling for medical professionals to help.
