Amazing : A couple built a flat in the back of a white van

Adam Croft, 29, and Nikki Pepperell, 32, now live in a converted white van. The pair bought the Fort Transit Luton for £3,500 and spent a year and £6,500 kitting it out with a kitchen, toilet, shower, windows, porch, new flooring, sofa and bedroom. 



The Stroud, Gloucester, couple, said they made the move when rent became too much to bear and they now plan to spend a year travelling around the continent.



The pair got the idea to live in a van after spending a week on their friends’ boat in Falmouth, Cornwall.Though they knew a boat was out of the question, Adam and Nikki said they were jealous of the freedom it offered.

Using YouTube instructional videos and learning as they went along, the pair moved in with their parents and began working on turning a white van into a mobile home.
