FIFA has released the latest rankings for the month of June and the rankings shows Nigeria has dropped down 14 places despite winning its match against Chad.The Super Eagles were formally ranked as the 43rd best national team in the world and 7th in Africa but have now dropped to 57th in the world and 10th in Africa

Ivory Coast (21st),
Ghana 25th),
Tunisia (32),
Senegal (39),
Cameroon (42th),
Congo (47th),
Cape Verde Island (52nd),
Egypt (55th)
The top ten in order are: Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Columbia, Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, England and Wales.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that it is in talks with former Super Eagles’ captain Sunday Oliseh with regards to the vacant position of the team’s head coach.
