Manchester United ‘launching bid to sign top transfer target Robert Lewandowski’

Manchester United are making a bid to bring Robert Lewandowski to Old Trafford, according to reports. United, who have had a productive few days in the transfer market, are looking to the final finishing touches for Louis van Gaal’s new-look squad. 

And while work is going on to find players in other departments, up front in the key area, and the Daily Telegraph says the number one choice is Lewandowski.

The Red Devils would have to get close to £44.7million (€63m) to tempt Bayern into selling one of their prize assets.

 The Bayern striker has scored 17 goals in 30 league matches for the club and after interest from United last summer, the Daily Star says a bid is set to go in to finally get him.
