Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s vice president, on Sunday, July 19, expressed confidence that Boko Haram insurgency would end soon in Nigeria.Professor Osinbajo made this known in a statement issued in Lagos state, Channels TV reports.
He added that based on his analysis the current trend of suicide bombing showed that the terrorists were frustrated.
His statement, however, generated many negative reactions among the citizens. Social media users wondered, how the politician could speak about “winning” when hundred of innocent people had been killed in less then 2 months following Buhari’s inauguration.
