Masquerades Attack Church in Ondo State, Flog Pastors And Worshippers.

A Church service was reportedly disrupted by four masquerades who flogged the pastors and the worshipers in the Epinmi Akoko area of Ondo state. According to the Vanguard,one of the masquerades, identified as Tunde Arohunmolase, was arrested while others fled after flogging the pastors and worshipers.

Two of the pastors were reportedly injured by the time the masquerades left the church and Vanguard learnt that when the masquerades arrived the church premises, they were challenged by some of the church workers whom they overpowered before going straight for their target.

Speaking on the matter, a police source said that the masquerades invaded the Christ Apostolic Church while the service was going on and brought it to an abrupt end after their flogging.


The pastors attacked have been identified as Jacob Ogunmola and Kehinde Ilori, and the suspect, Tunde Arohunmolase is currently in Police custody.
