Islamic Centre in Dutse local government area Named After Aisha Buhari

An Islamic centre which comprise a Juma’at mosque and an Islamiya school in Ruru village, Dutse local government area has been named after the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari. In a report on Daily Trust, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Jigawa state, Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Dano, yesterday, July 7, unveiled the Islamic centre.

At the grand opening, the centre was named after the president’s wife by the Jigawa state Deputy Governor, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadeija.
The centre was named after Aisha because of “her commitment to women and child development.”
