Manchester United expecting to seal "£30m" Southampton midfielde Morgan Schneiderlin transfer by Monday

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal expects to complete the signing of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin before Monday.
United fly out to California to start their pre-season tour and Van Gaal is keen to integrate the Frenchman in his squad as they tour across the US, as United prepare to play four matches in two weeks.

The Independent are also reporting that Saints boss Ronald Koeman is keen to complete the deal as soon as possible in order to find a suitable replacement. ‘Everybody knows the situation of Morgan and if you can get a big move I can understand it,’ Koeman said.

It is believed that United have offered £20million for the player, £10million short of Southampton’s £30million valuation. That being said, the Red Devils believe they can strike a compromise at £25million.
